Rob Legg RL 28

Pendragon' is a much loved RL28 is in good condition for her age with a great trailer ready to go. She is well maintained and upgraded over the 14 years the current owners have owned her. Unfortunately she has not been used a lot the last couple of years due to health problems. The 'road' trailer has a fully compliant break-away brake system and all brakes plus the electric hydraulic unit were fully refurbished 6 months ago. Pendragon comes with an additional galvanised 'hard-stand' trailer to be used when boat is parked at club/marina hardstand (to avoid corrosion/wear of the 'road' trailer). Pendragon is equipped with a pro-furl system both for main and jib this allows reefing and sail recovery from the comfort and safety of the cockpit. The extremely reliable inboard Yanmar 1GM10 engine has been rebuilt approximately 5 years ago and what I have been told she is reliable and starts 1st time every time. The RL28 is a great boat with a high ceiling so it is one of the few trailer sailors with head height throughout. Solar (250 W) and rudder (stailess-steel with shallow water kick option) were newly built only 3 years ago. The RL build is well known for its strength and to way they perform on the water. Many people say that they preforms more like a keel boat than a trailer sailor so it is a great boat to learn in and a great boat to move too.
