Details
This stunning 2001 Moody 54 presents a rare opportunity to purchase a true blue water cruising yacht ready to set sail at a fraction of the replacement cost yet in as new condition. Part owner Andrew, a man with over 30 years experience in boat building has lovingly restored this yacht with no expense spared specifically to live aboard and travel around the globe. Sadly due to a change in circumstances this Moody 54 'Jemma' is now available for sale.

this Moody 54 is a swift passage-maker - perfect for a family, yet effortlessly handled by a cruising couple or individual due to features such as in-mast furling, electric winches, all lines leading aft to the cockpit, self-tacking staysail, dinghy davits, powered boarding platform, bow thruster, electric anchor windlass, new teak deck (no screws), new teak cockpit coaming and toerail, new running rigging. The centre cockpit is protected by a wraparound windscreen for clear viewing; the custom dodger and bimini have been crafted with forever-waterproof and rugged Sunbrella Supreme. Every piece of electronic gear is brand new and top-of-the-line; each element is seamlessly integrated via CZone intuitive touch displays.
Moving below, one is immediately impressed by the light-filled interior spaces due to the abundance of side and forward-facing windows. There are two spacious sleeping cabins - each with an island queen berth, generous wardrobe spaces and adjoining ensuite with shower stall and electric toilet. The third cabin is a cleverly executed private office that can quickly convert to a single berth. The galley and head surfaces are easy-care composite; the 3-burner LPG stove/oven, microwave, refrigeration (fridge and freezer) and washing machine are all brand new. Convenience and comfort are further assured with a new 80-litre/hr watermaker along with a 9.5 Kva generator. Main saloon upholstery is luxurious eurohide imitation leather; all window coverings are new and pristine. There are three zones of reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating. No amenity on this fine vessel has escaped the craftsman's hand.
Every aspect of this bluewater passage-maker has been meticulously upgraded to the highest specification; this is a no-compromise sailing yacht. You simply will not find another Moody 54 anywhere in the world that comes anywhere close to Jemma in terms of sail-away readiness in pure luxury.
