Huon Pilothouse Motor Sailer

Jendiri is a stunning Huon Pine planked pilot house motor sailer designed by Max Creese and built by Geoffrey Cuthbertson of Hobart Tasmania. She measures 12.19 metres or 40 feet with a 12 foot or 3.65 metres beam and is constructed of 35mm Huon pine timber, strip planked and glued with resorcinol glue. She has a decent sized pilot house with an the internal helm with all instrumentation seating and a fridge. Below decks is a good sized galley, central seatinf/dinning with a forward v berth, the head is starboard of the galley upon entry.

She has been built to a very high standard using production boat practices and the best materials at the time of construction. With extensive work being carried out throughout her life and having been put into survey up until 2005 and with continued maintenance she is in very good condition. Jendiri has marine ply Dynel Sheathed in epoxy resin over laid Queensland Beech deck construction.
